Philippe Uchan (* 1962 in Toulouse , France ) is a French actor .

biography

Philippe Uchan studied drama at the conservatoire de Toulouse, and from 1982 for two years with a one-year break because of a theater engagement at the Cours Florent in Paris . In 1985 he was able to study acting at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique . He then began to play regularly in the theater, where he participated in productions by theater directors such as Jean-Pierre Vincent , Jean-Luc Tardieu and Pierre Mondy . For his portrayal in David Mamet's Glengarry Glenn Ross , he was nominated for the 2001 Molière Theater Prize for Best Supporting Actor.

When French Film Uchan was seen since the mid-1980s. So he starred in movies like Life and Nothing Else and Summer Comedy . He was also awarded for the presentation of Bouzigue in Yves Robert's children's film The Castle of my mother as Best Newcomer at the presentation of the French film award César 1991 nominations.
