Phillip Jonas Daubner (born April 9, 1994 in Fürth ) is a German basketball player . He has been under contract with the Nürnberg Falcons BC in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA since 2019 .
career
Daubner played in his youth at Post SV Nürnberg , then at the Franconian Witches, before moving to TSV Breitengüßbach . In 2012 Daubner won the German championship title in the youth basketball league with TSV . He also played for the TSV partner club Regnitztal Baskets and at the beginning of the 2013/14 season for FC Baunach in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB , which, like Breitengüßbach and Regnitztal, belongs to the youth network of Bundesliga club Brose Bamberg .
In January 2014, he accepted the offer from BG Bitterfeld-Sandersdorf-Wolfen , for which he played in the ProB until the end of the 2014/15 season and also played a Bundesliga game for Central German BC in April 2015 thanks to a double license .
In June 2015 Daubner was signed by the Paderborn Baskets from the 2nd Bundesliga ProA . He stayed in East Westphalia for three years and moved to VfL Kirchheim in the second division in summer 2018 . In August 2019, he signed a contract with league competitor Nürnberg Falcons BC .
National team
In the summer of 2010, Daubner took part in the European Championship in Montenegro with the German U16 national team.
