The Phillips Nunatak is an approximately 1000 m high nunatak in Queen Elizabeth Land in West Antarctica . In the Patuxent Range of the Pensacola Mountains it rises from an icy terrain 11 km north of Mount Wanous .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Harry G. Phillips, cook at the Palmer Station in the Antarctic winter of 1967.
