Philomena Colatrella

Philomena Colatrella (* 1968 ) is a Swiss lawyer , lawyer and insurance manager.

Life

Colatrella grew up in the canton of Lucerne . Her parents come from Avellino , a city east of Naples . Colatrella studied law at the University of Friborg and is admitted to the bar of the Canton of Lucerne .

She has been working for the CSS health insurance company since 1999 , became Secretary General and member of the Executive Committee in 2012, Deputy CEO in 2014 and, as of September 1, 2016, Managing Director and Chairwoman of the Executive Committee. She was the first woman on the board of the Swiss Insurance Association and in 2017 she was the best-earning health insurance manager with compensation of over CHF 743,000.

She is married to an architect and lives in Lucerne.
