Pidlisky ( Ukrainian Підліски ; Russian Подлески Podleski , Polish Podliski ) is a village in Ukraine , in Mostyska Raion , Lviv Oblast .
Until 1918, Pidlisky belonged to the Austrian Crown Land of Galicia . Around 1880 the then Podliski had 274 inhabitants, 190 of whom were Poles, 73 Russians and 11 Germans. 180 residents belonged to the Roman Catholic Church , 74 to the Greek Catholic Church , and 11 were Jews . From 1918 to 1934 Pidlisky was an independent municipality in the Second Polish Republic . After the municipal reform in 1934, it belonged to the Pnikut Municipal Association ( Gmina Pnikut) in the Lviv Voivodeship .
With the Soviet occupation of eastern Poland in 1939, Pidlisky came under Soviet administrative sovereignty and was incorporated into the Ukrainian Soviet Republic . From 1941 it belonged to the Generalgouvernement of Lemberg after Germany's invasion of the Soviet Union . In 1944 it came under Soviet rule again.
Pidlisky has been part of the independent Ukraine since 1991 and formed the district council of the same name together with the neighboring village of Vyshenka until 2016 . On December 18, 2016, the place became a part of the newly founded municipality Mostyska ( Мостиська міська громада Mostyska miska hromada ).
