Pierre Combescot
Pierre Combescot (born January 9, 1940 in Limoges , † June 27, 2017 in Paris ) was a French writer and journalist .
Life
Pierre Combescot was born in Limoges in 1940. Under the pseudonym Luc Décygnes he worked for the satirical newspaper Le Canard enchaîné . He was also a columnist for Paris Match . He also published numerous novels.
In 1986 he received the Prix Médicis for his work Les Funérailles de la Sardine . This was followed in 1991 for Les Filles du Calvaire the Prix Goncourt and the Prix Goncourt des lycéens .
He died in Paris in 2017 at the age of 77.
