Pierre Jalbert
Pierre Jalbert (* 1967 in Manchester , New Hampshire ) is an American composer .
Life
He studied piano and composition at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College and with George Crumb at the University of Pennsylvania , where he received his Ph.D. acquired. He is Professor of Composition and Music Theory at Rice University in Houston .
