Pierre Mennel
Pierre Mennel (* 1964 in Zurich ) is a Swiss cameraman .
In 1986, Pierre Mennel was a founding member of the video workshop in Zurich. From 1992 to 1995 he studied film at the Zurich University of Art and Design . Since then he has been working as a freelance cameraman. Since 2005 he has been teaching light and image design at the ZHdK, since 2015 as a professor. In 2015 he was nominated for the Swiss Film Award for best camera for the documentary ThuleTuvalu .
