Pierre Paupe
Pierre Paupe (born July 24, 1937 in Soubey ; entitled to live there ; † March 9, 2016 ) was a Swiss politician ( CVP ).
Life
Paupes first important political function was that as mayor from 1967 to 1974 in Montfaucon . He was elected to the first parliament of the Canton of Jura in 1979. From 1989 to 1996 he was mayor of Saignelégier and was first general secretary and then president of the CVP Jura. On December 4, 1995, Pierre Paupe was elected to the Council of States and had a seat there until November 30, 2003.
He also presided over various organizations.
He was married and has two children. He was a colonel in the Swiss Army .
