Pierre Trân Ðinh Tu
Pierre Trân Ðinh Tu ( Vietnamese : Phêrô Trần Đình Tú ; born March 2, 1937 in Thái Bình ) is a Vietnamese priest and former bishop of Phú Cường .
Life
Pierre Trân Ðinh Tu was ordained a priest on April 29, 1965 . John Paul II appointed him bishop of Phú Cường on November 5, 1998 .
The Pope personally donated his episcopal ordination on January 6 of the next year; Co- consecrators were Giovanni Battista Re , substitute for the State Secretariat , and Francesco Monterisi , Secretary of the Congregation for Bishops .
On June 30, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
