The PinBoys were an alternative rock band founded in Aarhus , Denmark in September 2002 .

history

The PinBoys were a Danish rock quartet with the singers Anne Kalstrup and Jakob Thalund Møller. Her debut album Teenage Wasteland was released in 2007.

The PinBoys released their first song Quit It on the New York record label Flytrap Records and went on tour through the USA. In 2003 the PinBoys separated from Flytrap Records. In 2004 they released their first EP No Control with ZigZound Studios . In 2005 they signed a contract with Iceberg Records, in August the EP Somewhere in Between was released . Many support tours followed, in April 2007 the first studio album entitled Teenage Wasteland was released. The second studio album entitled Simple Art was released in Denmark in spring and in Germany in summer 2009. In December 2010, the band decided to break up for good because the musical demands of the members had grown apart. In spring 2011 the farewell tour took place, which ended with a big farewell concert on May 20, 2011 in the Hamburg market hall.

The rock band has made more than 300 appearances on multiple tours across Europe, the United States and Japan with bands such as Fall Out Boy , Billy Talent , Millencolin , Reel Big Fish , Donots and ZSK . On August 28, 2010 they played together with Illegal 2001, Desert Deamon, KellerChaos and Murphys Law at the Jübek Open Air Revival Party.
