The Pine River is a right tributary of the Peace River in the Peace River Regional District in the northeast of the Canadian province of British Columbia .

The Pine River rises in Pine Le Moray Provincial Park on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains about 15 kilometers east of the Williston Lake located Mackenzie . From there it flows in a predominantly eastward direction into the Peace River lowland . He takes up the right tributaries Sukunka River and Murray River . The Pine River then turns north and later macj northeast and finally flows into the Peace River at Taylor . Lemoray , Chetwynd and East Pine are on the river . Pine River Breaks and East Pine Provincial Parks are on the riverside. The Pine River has a length of about 200 km. At the gauge at East Pine, 91 km above the mouth, the mean discharge is 189 m³ / s. The Pine River carries the largest amounts of water in May and June.
