Pingyangmycin ( Bleomycin A ₅ ) is an antibiotic from Streptomyces verticillus var. Pingyangensis n.sp. , named after Pingyang (district in the Chinese province of Zhejiang ). Streptomycetes form a genus of Actinobacteria . Pingyangmycin is a single compound from the substance group of bleomycins and provides the spermidine amide represent the Bleomycinsäure.

Pingyangmycin is used as a cytostatic in chemotherapy .
