Pino Belli
Pino Belli (actually Giuseppe Belli, Conte di Giusa della Rota , born October 27, 1921 in Piacenza , † November 3, 1968 in Rome ) was an Italian writer , documentary filmmaker and director .
Life
Belli is mainly known for his around 100 trivial novels from the areas of horror, thriller, war and espionage. Especially his contributions to the series I racconti di Dracula stand out. Most of these novels he wrote under pseudonyms, the most famous of which was Max Dave .
Belli turned in 1956 his only film as a director, in the forests of Mato Grosso incurred Il Segreto della Sierra Dorada . Then worked on several scripts for smaller films or was responsible for their Italian version.
