Piotr Bednarczyk

Piotr Bednarczyk (born February 23, 1914 in Sowliny ; † August 7, 2001 in Limanowa ) was a Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Tarnów .

Life

The Archbishop of Kraków , Adam Stefan Sapieha , ordained him as a priest on June 3, 1944 .

Paul VI appointed him on February 21, 1968 auxiliary bishop in Tarnów and titular bishop of Turris Rotunda . The Archbishop of Cracow, Karol Józef Wojtyła , ordained him bishop on April 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Jerzy Karol Ablewicz , Bishop of Tarnów, and Karol Pękala , Auxiliary Bishop of Tarnów. As a motto he chose Ut gaudens catechizem .

On June 22, 1991 Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
