Piotr Celeban (born June 25, 1985 in Szczecin , Poland ) is a Polish football player . He has been under contract with Śląsk Wrocław since summer 2014 .

Career

Piotr Celeban learned to play football in his hometown of Szczecin near Pogoń Szczecin . In 2003 he joined the professional squad. Initially, however, he was used very rarely and was loaned to the then second division club Śląsk Wrocław in 2006 . Here he played a strong season and was in the following 2006/07 season an integral part of the team of Pogoń Szczecin in the Ekstraklasa . In 2007 he moved to the up-and-coming and financially stronger club Korona Kielce . Because of the strong competition, however, he came to only 13 missions and left the club at the end of the season in the direction of Breslau to Śląsk Wrocław. Here he became an absolute regular player and top performer. In 2012 he won the Polish championship with his team . He then moved to FC Vaslui in Romania after four years . After 29 games and seven goals scored, he terminated his contract early in late May 2013 after the club failed to pay his salary. Less than a month later, Celeban announced that he would continue to play for FC Vaslui after the club had paid him his outstanding salaries and awarded him a raise. At the beginning of April 2014, he finally terminated his contract with FC Vaslui. In the summer of 2014 he returned to Śląsk Wrocław.

Career in the national team

On December 14, 2008 Celeban made his debut in the Polish national team in a 1-0 win against Serbia . From the beginning of 2011 to the beginning of 2013 he was no longer nominated.
