Damian Gąska (born November 24, 1996 in Warsaw ) is a Polish football player . The striker has been playing for Polish club Śląsk Wrocław since 2018 .

Career

Damian Gąska comes from the offspring of Varsovia Warsaw . In the summer of 2014, the then 17-year-old completed his first trial training with the German third division club SpVgg Unterhaching . Efforts to get a transfer were successful at the end of August. Gąska could still play in the A-youth at this time due to his age; In the squad of the third division team he moved up during the winter break. He was described as an "unusual talent" by coach Christian Ziege .

He made his professional debut on February 14, 2015 in a game at Halleschen FC , which was lost 2-1. Gaska came on in the 60th minute for Lucas Hufnagel . He scored his first competitive goal on February 24, 2015, in the away game at SG Sonnenhof Großaspach , making it 1-1. In the end there was a 4-1 victory for Unterhachinger.
