Lucas Hufnagel ( Georgian ლუკას ჰუფნაგელი Lukas Hupnageli ; born January 29, 1994 in Munich ) is a German - Georgian football player . The midfielder plays for SpVgg Unterhaching .
Career
In the club
Hufnagel began playing football at the age of five at the Munich district club TSV Milbertshofen and two years later joined FC Bayern Munich , where he was trained for ten years. At the age of 17 he moved to FC Ingolstadt 04 and a year later to SpVgg Unterhaching . In the 2012/13 season he was mainly used in the U19, but also in the second men's team. He also played a third division game for the first team. In May 2013, his contract with the Hachingen family was extended to 2015 with an option to 2016.
For the 2015/16 season , Hufnagel moved to the second division club SC Freiburg . On January 31, 2017, he was loaned to the second division club 1. FC Nürnberg and was promoted to the Bundesliga at the end of the 2017/18 season.
For the season 2018/19 returned Hufnagel not to Freiburg, but for the 3. Liga playing SpVgg Unterhaching back, he signed in a contract with a term until 30 June 2021st
National team
Lucas Hufnagel is the son of a German father and a Georgian mother. He played a total of twelve games in the youth selection of the Georgian Football Association . In November 2015, he made his debut in a friendly against Estonia in the Georgian national team . He played his first competitive game on October 9, 2017 in Belgrade in a qualifier for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. He was substituted on in the 87th minute for Jaba Jigauri in the game against Serbia. The game was lost 0-1.
