Felix Schröter (born January 23, 1996 in Ulm ) is a German football player .
Club career
Beginnings
In 2000, Felix Schröter began playing football at TSV Pfuhl 1894 , a gymnastics club from Neu-Ulm in Bavaria . After three years he moved to SSV Ulm . He stayed with Ulm for five years before joining the youth team at VfB Stuttgart in 2008 . With the Stuttgart team, he won the South German Championship with the U15 in 2011. He then moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , where he also played for three years. Here he was mainly used as a striker. Previously, he was also used in midfield and as a full-back. In 2014 he switched to FC Schalke 04 .
In the U19, Schröter advanced to become a regular and top scorer under the direction of Norbert Elgert . For the first time he played in the UEFA Youth League , in which he scored three goals in six games. In the second league game he scored his first two goals for Schalke in the game against 1. FC Mönchengladbach . In the following five games he scored six more league goals. Between the eighth and twelfth game day, he remained goalless and assistless. On matchday 16, he scored four goals in an 8-0 win against Arminia Bielefeld . One day later he scored three goals in a 6-0 win against Preußen Münster . At the DFB Junior Club Cup , he scored two goals in three games. At the end of the season he was the top scorer in the A-Juniors Bundesliga West with 27 goals together with Marc Brašnić from Bayer 04 Leverkusen .
Loan to Heidenheim
Schröter began his first season in the men's area in the second team of FC Schalke 04, but was not used on the first match days of the Regionalliga West .
On August 8, 2015 Schröter received at FC Schalke 04 a until June 30, 2018 dated professional contract and was until the end of season 2015/16 in the 2. Bundesliga at 1. FC Heidenheim awarded. There he made his debut in a 1-0 home win against Fortuna Düsseldorf on matchday 3 when he was substituted on for Smail Morabit in the 77th minute . In Heidenheim, however, Schröter could not prevail and only came to a total of three missions without his own goal.
Return to FC Schalke 04
In February 2016, Schröter's loan contract in Heidenheim was terminated and he returned to the second team of FC Schalke 04. In his first outing against Borussia Mönchengladbach's second team , he scored his first goal in the men's area in the 66th minute to make it 2-2.
Change to the regional league
For Regionalliga season 2018/19 took him FV Illertissen under contract. In 33 league games, the striker scored 16 goals and 8 assists.
Third division with Unterhaching
In the summer of 2019, Schröter signed a contract with SpVgg Unterhaching that was valid until June 2021.
National team
On November 11, 2010, he played his first and only game for the German U15 against Poland. At 2-0 he played a total of 42 minutes in the left-back position. Less than a year later he made his debut against Ukraine for the U16s . In the 3-0 success he was able to score a goal himself. He made his second and last game in the 3-1 defeat by Denmark, in which he scored a goal.
