Paul Grauschopf (born August 15, 1998 in Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg ) is a German football player . The central defender is under contract with SpVgg Unterhaching and is a former young German national player.

Career

society

The Niederbayer Grauschopf began playing football as a G youth at TSV Ergoldsbach. As a result, he made the leap into the junior performance centers of SSV Jahn Regensburg and SpVgg Greuther Fürth . With Fürth's A-Jugend, the defender made it to the round of 16 of the DFB Junior Cup 2015/16 , where the team was eliminated by SC Freiburg .

Then Grauschopf finished his football training in the U19 of RB Leipzig . During this time he was on the field for the second team of Saxony in the regional league for the first time in the men's area.

In the summer of 2017 he moved to FC Ingolstadt 04 for lack of prospects in Leipzig . There the central defender completed 49 regional league games for the second team and was a regular in his second season. In spring 2019, the relegation of the professionals to the 3rd division, despite the eighth place in the table, resulted in the amateur team being forced to move to the Bayernliga .

Due to this, Grauschopf signed a two-year contract with third division club SpVgg Unterhaching in the summer of 2019, which can be extended by an option for another year .

National team

Grauschopf played 15 games for junior teams of the DFB between 2013 and 2016 . Since he had been trained at his first club, TSV Ergoldsbach, for more than two years, it received a one-off financial contribution from the DFB.
