Florian Pick (born September 8, 1995 in Wittlich ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He prefers to act in the position of the winger but can also be used variably in the attacking midfield .

Club career

Beginnings

He joined the youth academy of 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 2011 through the stations JSG Wittlich and Eintracht Trier . There he played for two years and then moved to the youth academy, Knappenschmiede , of FC Schalke 04 . There he stood out for his strong performances in indoor soccer.

He then played for two years for the second representation of Schalke, but never got beyond the status of a supplementary player. He scored two goals for Schalke in 45 games in the West Regional Football League .

1. FC Kaiserslautern

For lack of prospects, he moved to the Bundesliga second division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern at the beginning of the 2016/17 season . There he was denied a job in the professional team, so that he could only complete assignments for the U23. In 28 league games he was able to score a goal. After returning from his loan, Pick played regularly in the third division in Kaiserslautern. He scored his first professional goal on March 10, 2019 in the game against FC Carl Zeiss Jena , when he scored 4-1 in the 88th minute of the game.

1. FC Magdeburg

For the 2017/18 season , Pick switched to the 3rd division on loan to 1. FC Magdeburg . There he made his professional debut in the 2-1 win against the Würzburger Kickers on August 6, 2017, the 4th matchday of that season, when he came on for Michel Niemeyer in the 81st minute . After the loan ended, he returned to Kaiserslautern in summer 2018.
