Marius Kleinsorge (born October 30, 1995 ) is a German soccer player . The winger is under contract with SV Meppen and will move to 1. FC Kaiserslautern for the 2020/21 season .

Career

Kleinsorge was trained in the youth of Eintracht Braunschweig and later switched to Goslarer SC 08 . In his first team he made his debut at the age of 17, on August 2, 2013 against BV Cloppenburg . In the 2013/14 regional league season , the offensive midfielder scored ten goals in 24 games, arousing the interest of higher-class teams. For the 2014/15 season , Kleinsorge moved to the 3rd soccer league for SV Wehen Wiesbaden , where he signed a two-year contract. In his first third division game on August 5, 2014 against Borussia Dortmund II , he scored the winning 1-0 in added time. In the third division, however, the offensive player did not make the breakthrough he had hoped for, so that he increasingly played for the second team in the Hessenliga at SVWW . In the summer of 2016, the northern regional division SV Meppen announced the commitment of Kleinsorge.

With the club, he became regional league champion in 2017 and rose with him via relegation to the third division . As a result, the Lower Saxony completed regular missions in midfield and on the right wing, but also occasionally dropped out due to minor muscle injuries. In the summer of 2020, after his contract expires, he will move to 1. FC Kaiserslautern , with which he signed until June 2023.
