Wilhelm "Willi" Evseev (born February 14, 1992 in Temirtau , Kazakhstan ) is a German football player of Kazakh origin. He is under contract with SV Meppen . He is also a multiple junior national player.

Life

His father Alexander was a judoka in the Soviet Union and later in the Federal Republic of Germany . His cousin Arthur Lemmer played a. a. for the Rostock Piranhas , Moskitos Essen and the Saale Bulls Halle and his uncle Michail Lemmer, played a. a. for the ESC Wedemark and the Hannover Indians ice hockey.

Football career

youth

Evseev came to Germany from Kazakhstan in 1993 with his family . In 1996 he started playing football as a four-year-old in the G-Jugend of Hannover 96 . With the B-youth Hanover Evseev 2007/08 reached in the Bundesliga to sixth place in the table, a year later, with the A-youth of Hanover, the 5th place at that German top flight and a further year later, 2009-10 , space 3.

Evseev was able to prove his talent in several years, between 2007 and 2010, in the respective age group of the German national team . For example, he played in the U-17 of the DFB with Mario Götze , who later won the 2014 World Cup , and who later won the 2015 Champions League , Marc-André ter Stegen .

For the 2010/11 season he received a professional contract with Hannover 96 . In 2011 he was loaned to the Austrian Bundesliga club SC Wiener Neustadt for a year .

From 2013 he was active for the second team of VfL Wolfsburg ; On October 20, 2013, he was part of the Wolfsburg professional team for the first time at the Bundesliga match in Augsburg under coach Dieter Hecking . A week later he was substituted on for the first time and gave a goal assist in the 3-0 win against Werder Bremen . On December 4, 2013, he made his first start for VfL Wolfsburg in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup against FC Ingolstadt 04 . For the 2014/15 season , Evseev moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for 1. FC Nürnberg after his contract in Wolfsburg expired . His contract ran until June 30, 2017.

After he was only used in the Regionalliga in 2015/16 , he was awarded to the third division Holstein Kiel in January 2016 . There he came to seven games in the 3rd division. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season he returned to the club, where he was used exclusively in the regional league team.

In the summer of 2017 Evseev joined the third division Hansa Rostock . He made his starting line-up debut for the Kogge on matchday 1 at the away game in Lotte . In his first season at the club on the Baltic Sea, he made 22 appearances and three goals. Coach Pavel Dotchev also used him three times in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Cup , in which he scored in every game. Hansa finally prevailed against FC Mecklenburg Schwerin (2: 1) in the final and Evseev won the state cup. An injury- related lack of training at the beginning of the 2018/19 season initially helped him to play in the second team of Rostock in the Oberliga Nordost .

After not extending his contract, which expired at the end of the season, the midfielder joined SV Meppen in summer 2019 .
