Luca Bastian Plogmann (born March 10, 2000 in Bremen ) is a German soccer goalkeeper who is on loan from Werder Bremen to SV Meppen . He is also a young international player.

Career

Plogmann has been with Werder Bremen since he was a youngster . Plogmann made his debut in the Bundesliga team at Werder Bremen on September 1, 2018 when he was substituted on in the 53rd minute of the game at Eintracht Frankfurt after goalkeeper Jiří Pavlenka was injured. During this action, a penalty was imposed against Werder, which Sébastien Haller converted to make it 1-1 against Plogmann. Bremen won the game 2-1. In the second team he played 13 games in the regional league this season .

For the 2020/21 season, Plogmann switched to third division club SV Meppen for a year on loan . The club reacted to the injury-related, long-term absence of its replacement keeper Matthis Harsman .

In April 2019 Plogmann, who had played for all junior national teams of the DFB from the U15 to the U19 , took part in a DFB elite goalkeeping course in Bad Gögging under the direction of national goalkeeping coach Andreas Köpke .
