Julius Düker (born January 4, 1996 in Braunschweig ) is a German football player . The striker has been under contract with SV Meppen since the 2019/20 season .

Career

At the beginning of the 2013/14 season, Düker moved from Braunschweig amateur club BSC Acosta to Eintracht Braunschweig 's youth club . He had previously played in the youth team at VfL Wolfsburg from 2010 to 2012 . With Eintracht, Düker rose to the U-19 Bundesliga in his first year . At the beginning of the 2014/15 season , he was also the captain of the A-youth team for the Braunschweiger second team in the Regionalliga Nord . There he made his debut on August 27, 2014 in a 3-0 away win against FT Braunschweig and scored his first goal.

On September 26, 2014 Düker was appointed to the first team in the 2nd Bundesliga for the first time and made his professional debut in the 2-1 win against SV Sandhausen , when he came on for Mushaga Bakenga in the 86th minute . He made his second appearance for the professionals on March 4, 2015 when he lost 2-0 in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup against FC Bayern Munich , where he came on for Nik Omladič in the 68th minute .

For the 2016/17 season , Düker moved to third division club 1. FC Magdeburg . He signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2018. In the 3rd division he made his debut on September 17, 2016 in a 3-2 win in the away game against Preußen Münster . He was substituted on for Gerrit Müller by coach Jens Härtel in the 83rd minute . Düker celebrated its first goal in the away game against FSV Frankfurt . In the 19th minute he scored the only goal of the game. In total, Düker was used 23 times in one of his two seasons for the FCM in the league and scored a total of six goals. In the 2017/18 season he was champions of the 3rd division with 1. FC Magdeburg and thus celebrated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga .

For the 2018/19 season, Düker switched to co-promoted SC Paderborn 07 , with whom he signed a contract that was valid until June 30, 2020. In January 2019 Paderborn loaned him to his relegation-threatened ex-club Eintracht Braunschweig until the end of the third division season 2018/19 .

After the league with Braunschweig, the SCP , who had been promoted to the Bundesliga , sold the striker without return to SV Meppen , where the latter signed a contract valid until June 2021.
