Gerrit Müller (born April 26, 1984 in Schwetzingen ) is a German soccer player .

Career

In his youth, Müller played for HSV Heilbronn, SV Spaichingen and VfB Stuttgart . With VfB he became German A youth champion in 2003 .

After his junior years he played in the second team of VfB Stuttgart. In 2005 he moved first to Karlsruher SC II , and in 2007 to Sportfreunde Siegen . Since 2008 he has been playing in the 3rd division at Dynamo Dresden . He made his professional debut on August 13, 2008 when he was substituted on in the 70th minute in the 1: 2 home defeat by Kickers Emden .

In the second leg of the relegation for the 2nd Bundesliga 2011/12 he tore a cruciate ligament. After the promotion he had won through relegation, he did not come to the rest of the 2011/12 season after the long injury break and his contract with Dynamo was not extended at the end of the season. On August 28, 2012, the third division 1. FC Heidenheim announced the commitment of Müller before their home game against Chemnitzer FC . He made his debut in the FCH jersey in the 63rd minute of the game. In the summer of 2013, his contract was not renewed. In November 2013, the third division side Stuttgarter Kickers signed him . After the Swabians were relegated in the 2015/16 season, 1. FC Magdeburg signed the striker for the 2016/17 season .
