Nik Omladič (born August 21, 1989 in Celje , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Slovenian football player . The midfielder is under contract with Hansa Rostock and is a Slovenian national player.
Career
society
Nik Omladič started playing football at his hometown club NK Šmartno ob Paki and in 2005, at the age of 16, moved to the youth department of Rudar Velenje , where he was used until 2008. In 2006 he made his debut in the Slovenian second division and was then used in a total of 83 championship games by the end of 2009, where he contributed seven goals. In January 2010 he moved to the capital to Olimpija Ljubljana . There the winger established himself in midfield and gained international experience qualifying for the UEFA Europa League . After five years with Olimpija Ljubljana, he went to Germany for Eintracht Braunschweig during the winter break of the 2014/15 season . At Eintracht, Omladič earned a regular place straight away. For the 2017/18 season, Omladic moved within the same league to SpVgg Greuther Fürth and signed a three-year contract. In the second league game for the Franconian champions in 2017, he scored his first goal in a 1: 2 connection against Arminia Bielefeld . Two months after his engagement and four league games, he fell out for months due to plantar fasciitis . At the end of February 2018 he returned to training and on August 4, 2018 he played in the first game of the 2018/19 season from the beginning.
On the 7th matchday of the third division 2019/20 season , the Franconians sold the midfielder to Hansa Rostock , where he received a two-year contract.
National team
On March 30, 2015, Omladič made his debut for the Slovenian national football team in a friendly against Qatar .
Personal
His older brother Nejc is also a soccer player and plays in Austria as an amateur.
