Damian Roßbach (born February 27, 1993 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German soccer player . He has been under contract with third division team Hansa Rostock since 2020 .

Career

In his youth Roßbach played for SG Rosenhöhe Offenbach and 1. FSV Mainz 05 . From 2012 he was active in the Mainz second team . For the 2014/15 season he was brought up to the professional area, but was not used there. He played a total of 70 games in the regional league and the third division for the U-23 of the FSV.

For the 2015/16 season Roßbach moved to SV Sandhausen . There he played regularly in defensive midfield or as a left defender. In October 2017 he broke his skull after a collision with Max Jansen and was out until mid-April 2018. Since then he has been playing with a helmet.

After 43 second division games for SV Sandhausen, Roßbach moved to third division Karlsruher SC for the 2018/19 season . He has been a regular player in the left-back position in the back four since his first league appearance against Eintracht Braunschweig . In the 3-1 win against SC Fortuna Köln on February 2, 2019, he scored his first league goal for KSC with the 1: 1 equalization in the meantime. Overall, Roßbach only missed one game with a yellow card and, with his performances on the left side of defense and three goals scored, contributed to Karlsruhe being promoted to the second Bundesliga at the end of the season.

In the summer of 2020, Damian Roßbach signed a two-year contract with third division club Hansa Rostock .
