Markus Kolke (born August 18, 1990 in Erlenbach am Main ) is a German soccer player . The goalkeeper is under contract with Hansa Rostock .

Career

In his youth Kolke played for TSV Großheubach and Viktoria Aschaffenburg . In 2009 he moved to the second team at Eintracht Frankfurt . In this, however, he was only a substitute goalkeeper. After a year in Frankfurt he went to the Baden-Württemberg league club SV Waldhof Mannheim . In this he completed all games in the 2010/11 season and rose as a champion with the club in the regional league.

In the summer of 2011 he moved to SV Wehen Wiesbaden . There he prevailed against the previous goalkeeper Michael Gurski in October 2013 and has been a regular goalkeeper between the posts since then. At least since the 2016/17 season he had the reputation of a penalty killer, when he was able to parry six of seven penalties this season. Via the promotion relegation , Kolke, who was also the team captain at times, was able to move up to the 2nd division with the Hessians . In eight years he has been in goal for the SVWW in 232 games , 210 of them in league games.

Nevertheless, he joined Hansa Rostock for the 2019/20 third division season , where he received a two-year contract as the successor to the left goalkeeper Ioannis Gelios . The Franke Kolke was a guarantee in the goal of the Hanseatic League and was sent to the lawn by Hansa coach Jens Härtel in all 38 league games for Rostock, played twelve times to zero and was also in the DFB club cup against the second division club VfB Stuttgart (0 : 1) on the square. At the end of the season he was sixth in the table with Hansa and also won the Lübzer Pils Cups 2019/20 . In the final, Torgelow FC Greif was defeated 3-0.
