Maurice Jerome Litka (born January 2, 1996 in Hamburg ) is a German soccer player . The midfielder is under contract with third division club Hansa Rostock .
Career
Litka moved from TSV Wandsetal to the youth team at FC St. Pauli in 2006 . On July 26, 2014, he made his debut for the second team in the Regionalliga Nord in a 0-0 win against ETSV Weiche . On September 14, 2014, he played for the first time in the 2nd Bundesliga in a 2-1 defeat against TSV 1860 Munich . On October 16, 2014 Litka signed his first professional contract with FC St. Pauli, which was valid until June 30, 2018. He scored his first goal for the second team on November 6, 2015 in a 2-1 home win against Hannover 96 II .
For the 2018/19 season Litka switched to third division promoted KFC Uerdingen 05 on loan . With the KFC he defeated the Wuppertaler SV 2-1 in the final of the Niederrhein Cup and thus became the state cup winner. In total, he played for Krefeld in 20 third division games and scored one goal. The loan ended at the end of the season; Litka did not return to Hamburg, however, as Preußen Münster firmly committed him and provided him with a contract that was valid until June 2021. Litka made 28 appearances and 6 goals in the 2019/20 season in Münster . From the 10th day of this season, the Prussians were on a relegation zone and did not leave it until the end of the season. Litka was relegated from the 3rd division with Münster.
For the 2020/21 season , the left-footed player signed a two-year contract with third division club Hansa Rostock .
