Maximilian "Max" Reinthaler (born March 22, 1995 in Bozen ) is an Italian soccer player . The midfielder is under contract with Hansa Rostock .

Career

Reinthaler began his career at Bozner FC in his native Bolzano and then played for FC Südtirol . In 2009 he switched to the youth of Udinese Calcio . His only competitive game for the club he completed on December 6, 2012 in the Europa League in the 0-1 defeat in the home game against Liverpool , when he came on in the 65th minute for Medhi Benatia . In 2013 Reinthaler went to the German national division TSV Gersthofen , for which he was used twelve times. After about half a year he left the club and switched to the Swedish fifth division team Rydaholms GoIF . Reinthaler has been playing for German Bundesliga club FC Augsburg since July 29, 2014 . He made his debut for his second team in the Regionalliga Bayern on August 16, 2014 in a 2-0 win against the second team of FC Bayern Munich .

During the summer break of 2018 Reinthaler moved to third division Hansa Rostock and signed a two-year contract there. He played his first competitive game for the club on the Warnow on August 18, 2018 during the game in the first round of the DFB Cup against Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart (2-0). Reinthaler came on in the 89th minute for Cebio Soukou . In the course of the 2018/19 season, Reinthaler initially received three short appearances for the first men's team of the Hanseatic League and four more in the state cup , which was won as expected. On the last day of the away game against VfR Aalen (1-1) he made his third division debut and played the full distance. Reinthaler received seven additional missions in the Rostock reserve team in the Oberliga-Nordost . In the following season, the third division season 2019/20 , Hansa coach Jens Härtel considered him in 22 of a possible 38 games and also used him twice in the state cup. Due to his positive development at Hansa, the midfielder extended his expiring contract for another year until June 30, 2021.
