Pascal Breier (born February 2, 1992 in Nürtingen ) is a German soccer player . He is currently under contract with Hansa Rostock .

Career

societies

Breier moved in 2003 from TSV Neckartenzlingen to SSV Reutlingen . Three years later he joined the youth team at VfB Stuttgart . He led the Stuttgart B-youth team in the 2008/09 season as captain of the German U-17 championship .

He made his professional debut on October 16, 2010 on the 12th match day of the 2010/11 season for VfB II in the 3rd professional league against SV Wehen Wiesbaden , where he was substituted on for Öztürk Karataş in the second half . He scored his first professional goal a week later, on October 23, 2010 in the game against Wacker Burghausen . On June 28, 2011 Breier signed a professional contract dated until June 2015 with VfB Stuttgart.

On August 16, 2012, Pascal Breier was awarded to the SG Sonnenhof Großaspach until the end of the 2012 calendar year . After playing for VfB Stuttgart II again from January 2013 until his contract expired, Breier returned to SG Sonnenhof Großaspach for the 2015/16 season . In August 2016, he then switched to the second representative in Stuttgart, who had meanwhile been relegated to the regional league .

Breier made his first appearance for the Bundesliga team of VfB Stuttgart on December 19, 2017 in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup 2017/18 against 1. FSV Mainz 05 .

At the beginning of 2018, Breier moved to Hansa Rostock in the 3rd soccer league . He signed a contract with the Ostseestädtern until 2020. In his first game for Rostock Breier scored twice, at the meanwhile 2: 1 and 3: 1 final score against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . Hansa coach Pavel Dotchev used him in all other second round games of the season. Pascal Breier scored four more goals and finished 6th in the league. He was also able to win the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Cup with Hansa . In the final they won against FC Mecklenburg Schwerin (2: 1). Breier scored a 1-0 lead in this final game. With this title win, Rostock qualified for the DFB Cup next season. The lot resulted in a meeting with Breier's training club VfB Stuttgart, which was later lost 0-1.

One day before Christmas Eve 2019, Breier's contract extension in Rostock until June 30, 2023 was announced.

National team

Pascal Breier made his debut on April 20, 2007 for the German U-15 national team against Switzerland and scored one goal. In his second U-15 international match against Poland, he scored two goals. Breier made his debut for the German U-16 national team on September 22, 2007 against Denmark. With this selection Breier took part in an international tournament in France. On March 19, 2009 Pascal Breier completed his only game for the U-17 national team of Germany against Ukraine .
