Manuel Farrona Pulido (born May 1, 1993 in Kaltenkirchen ) is a German - Spanish soccer player . The midfielder is under contract with Hansa Rostock and is a former young German national player.

Career

In the club

Farrona Pulido began his career at TuS Shirtingen-Bilsen, after which he played in the youth of Holsatia Elmshorn . In the summer of 2006 he moved to the Hamburger SV youth performance center , for whose youth teams he played until 2012. In his last junior year, he was already used for the second team in Hamburg. In two games of the Regionalliga Nord 2011/12 he was on the field and was able to score a goal.

For the 2012/13 Regional League season , Farrona Pulido was accepted into the second team and was part of the squad until 2014. In the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons , Farrona Pulido played a total of 47 games and scored eleven goals.

For the 2014/15 Regionalliga season he moved to FSV Wacker 90 Nordhausen on a free transfer . With Nordhausen he closed the season after 26 missions and nine hits in third place in the table. On July 1, 2015, he moved to the champions of the regional league, 1. FC Magdeburg , who had been promoted to the third division . Farrona Pulido made his third division debut on the 1st matchday of the 2015/16 season , July 24, 2015, in a 2-1 opening win over FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt .

After his expiring contract in Magdeburg had not been extended, Farrona Pulido moved to league rivals SC Fortuna Köln in summer 2017 . He was already in the starting line-up in the 1-0 win against VfR Aalen on matchday 1 . He scored his first goal for Cologne on matchday 3 in a 3-0 win against VfL Osnabrück .

After just one year, Farrona Pulido's contract in Cologne was terminated by mutual agreement, and for the 2018/19 season he joined VfL Osnabrück. In the first game of the season against the Würzburger Kickers, he scored his first goal for VfL with the 2-1 winning goal. At the end of the season, VfL had been promoted to the second division. In the second-highest German league Farrona Pulido came to only seven short inserts, as head coach Daniel Thioune him Anas Ouahim and Niklas Schmidt preferred. After relegation with Osnabrück as the best newcomer, the midfielder left the club in summer 2020 and signed a two-year contract with third division club Hansa Rostock .

In the national team

Farrona Pulido was in the squad of Germany's U-18 national team three times in October and November 2010 . He was used in two games against Ukraine and Turkey .
