Nico Neidhart (born September 27, 1994 in Flensburg ) is a German soccer player . He is under contract with FC Hansa Rostock from the 2019/20 season and is mostly used as a left full-back .

Career

Youth and VfL Osnabrück

In 2000, Neidhart began his career at VfB Oldenburg and in 2010 he moved to the VfL Osnabrück youth team . As a youth he made his debut for both the second and the first team in Osnabrück. On May 11, 2012 he made his debut for the second team in the 1: 2 defeat against the reserves of Eintracht Braunschweig under coach Joe Enochs . He scored his first goal for the VfL reserve on his second appearance on August 12, 2012. In the 1-1 draw against SV Holthausen / Biene , he scored the goal to make it 1-0 in the 79th minute.

He made his debut in the third division and thus his professional debut on August 25, 2012 under coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz . In the 3-0 defeat against the Stuttgarter Kickers he was substituted on for Marcus Piossek in the 59th minute .

FC Schalke 04 II

For the 2013/14 season he moved to the reserves of FC Schalke 04 and made his debut for them in the Regionalliga West on September 13, 2013 in a 0-0 draw against SC Verl . He was substituted on by coach Bernhard Trares in the 55th minute for Dario Schumacher . He scored his first goal for the second Schalke 04 team on December 15, 2013 in the game against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . At halftime for Dario Schumacher, he scored the goal in the 54th minute to make it 1-1 on presentation of Gerald Asamoah . He played his 50th and last game for Schalke on May 23, 2015 in a 2-1 win against the reserves of Borussia Mönchengladbach ; He scored his sixth goal in the jersey of FC Schalke 04 II in the 36th minute with the goal to lead 1-0.

Sports fanatic Lotte

For the 2015/16 season Neidhart left the Schalke Reserve and joined the league competitor Sportfreunde Lotte . He made his debut for the new club in the Regionalliga West on August 15, 2015 in the game against FC Kray . In the 4-0 win he was substituted on by coach Ismail Atalan in the 69th minute for Semih Daglar. In the win against SC Verl , he scored his first goal for Sportfreunde Lotte with the goal to make it 3-2. With the team he won the championship in the Regionalliga West; after a 0-0 and a 2-0 victory in the relegation against Waldhof Mannheim , they rose to the 3rd division .

He played his first game in the 3rd division for Sportfreunde on July 31, 2016 in a 3-0 win against Werder Bremen's reserves . His first third division goal was against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt (2-2).

Change to the Netherlands

During the winter break of the third division 2018/19 season, he terminated his contract with the Westphalian club, which was running out at the end of the season, and moved to the Netherlands for first division club FC Emmen , for whose first and second team he played six games each. In the end he held the class with the newcomer.

FC Hansa Rostock

Already after half a year he left the neighboring country again and headed for the season 2019/20 for FC Hansa Rostock , where the defender received a valid until June 2021 contract.
