Mohamed Morabet (born January 31, 1998 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German - Moroccan football player . The midfielder is under contract with the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern .

Career

He comes from the youth of the FSV Frankfurt . There he also made his first professional appearance in the 3rd division when he came on as a substitute for Fabian Graudenz in the 78th minute of the game on the 19th matchday of the 2016/17 season in a 3-1 home win against SV Wehen Wiesbaden . After the relegation of his club, he moved to the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar in summer 2017 . In the 2017/18 league season , Morabet scored 6 times in 30 games and 12 times in 34 games in 2018/19 .

On October 3, 2018, Morabet made his debut in the first team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern. In the 7-0 away win in the Südwestpokal against SC Idar-Oberstein , he was substituted on and scored 6-0. He was in the FCK third division matchday squad for the first time on April 13, 2019, but he was not used. In May 2019, Morabet signed a new contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern, which will run until 2022 and make him a professional in 2020. On June 23, 2020, FCK coach Boris Schommers called him for the first time in a third division game, whereupon he scored his first goal to lead 1-0 in the away game at Hansa Rostock . In the end there was a 1-1 draw. In the subsequent third division home game against Viktoria Köln, he scored the 3-0 winning goal as a joker in the 90th minute.
