Nicolás Sessa (born March 23, 1996 in Stuttgart ) is a German - Argentine soccer player .

family

Sessa's family is from Argentina . He has both German and Argentine citizenship and is the brother of professional soccer player Kevin Sessa .

Career

In her youth, Sessa first played for SV Fellbach , FSV Waiblingen, 1. FC Normannia Gmünd and SSV Reutlingen 05 . In the B-youth he went first to SGV Freiberg and at the beginning of 2013 to TSG Hoffenheim , for which he started with the second team in the Regionalliga Südwest from 2015 . In January 2017 Sessa signed a contract with the second team at VfB Stuttgart . Under head coach Hannes Wolf , Sessa trained several times with the Bundesliga team of VfB in the 2017/18 season and sat on the bench in the first half of the games against Hertha BSC , Borussia Mönchengladbach and FC Bayern Munich without making any appearances.

On August 7, 2018, Sessa moved to VfR Aalen . Before that, VfB Stuttgart secured a buyback option, which is valid until the end of the 2019/20 season. On August 25, 2018 Sessa made his professional debut in the 3rd division against TSV 1860 Munich . After VfR's relegation in summer 2019, the midfielder's contract, which had a promotion and relegation clause, was automatically terminated.

In the 2019/20 season, the midfielder was under contract with second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue and made two league appearances before Sessa moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern in summer 2020 .
