Lucas Röser (born December 28, 1993 in Ludwigshafen ) is a German football player . He has been under contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern since summer 2019 and is mostly used as a center forward.

Career

1. FSV Mainz 05 II

Röser moved from Ludwigshafener SC to 1. FSV Mainz 05 in 2008 and went through its youth department until 2012. As a youth he made his debut under coach Martin Schmidt on October 15, 2011 in the Mainz team . In the game against Borussia Dortmund II in Regionalliga West he was substituted on for Jaineil Hoilett in the 67th minute and scored the 3-2 winner in the 87th minute.

For the 2012/13 season Röser finally rose from the A-Jugend to the second team of Mainz 05 and made his debut in the Regionalliga Südwest on August 4, 2011 in the 5-0 defeat against the reserves of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . He scored his first goal in the new league on September 4, 2012 in the game against Eintracht Frankfurt's reserves with the goal to make it 1-0 in the 9th minute; it was the only goal in the game. In the 2-0 win against KSV Baunatal on December 1, 2013, he played for the second team of Mainz 05 for the 50th time.

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim II

During the winter break of the 2013/14 season, Röser moved from Mainz 05 to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , where he was used in the second team. He made his debut for the Hoffenheim reserve on February 22nd, 2014 in the 3-0 defeat by Kickers Offenbach . Röser also played his 50th game in the Regionalliga Südwest. He scored his first goal for the TSG Hoffenheim reserve on April 13, 2014 in the game against TuS Koblenz with the goal to make it 3-1. In the 1: 2 defeat against the reserves of SC Freiburg , he completed his 50th game for the second team of Hoffenheim.

SG Sonnenhof Großaspach

For the 2016/17 season he left Hoffenheim and moved to SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the 3rd division . He made his debut in the 3rd league and thus his professional debut on July 30, 2016 in a goalless draw against Chemnitzer FC . For Großaspach Röser played 34 games in the 3rd division, in which he scored 14 goals.

Dynamo Dresden

At the beginning of the 2017/18 season he moved to Dynamo Dresden and signed a contract that was valid until June 2020. In two years, the striker came to 57 cross-competition appearances (14 goals) for the Saxons, with whom he always played for relegation. In addition, he was never able to fight for a regular place.

1. FC Kaiserslautern

The third division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern signed the attacker for the 7th match day of the 2019/20 season and provided him with a contract that was valid until June 2022.
