Simon Skarlatidis (born June 6, 1991 in Waiblingen ) is a German - Greek soccer player . He is under contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern and is mostly used on the right wing.
Career
Skarlatidis played in his youth for VfB Stuttgart , SV Fellbach , TSG Backnang in 1919 and SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . With Backnang he lost to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the A-Juniors final of the WFV Cup in 2009 . Shortly thereafter, he moved to SG Sonnenhof Großaspach, for which he was already used as an A-youth in the regional league team. In the following seasons, the playing times of the dribbling midfielder in the regional league team increased continuously, in 2014 he was first champion of the Regionalliga Südwest with Großaspach and was also in the two promotion games against VfL Wolfsburg II , as a 1-0 away promotion Successful promotion to the 3rd division . In 2015 Skarlatidis moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue, who had been relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga after six years at SGS . In the 2015/16 season , Skarlatidis managed to return directly to the 2nd Bundesliga with FC Erzgebirge . In the following season 2016/17 he was used in 11 games until February 2017 and scored 2 goals. In the league game against Dynamo Dresden (1: 4) on February 26, 2017, Skarlatidis suffered a metacarpal fracture and was no longer used for the rest of the season. His contract, which expired in 2017, was not extended.
For the new 2017/18 season , Skarlatidis switched to the Würzburger Kickers .
After two seasons at the Franken him committed to third-League Season 2019/20 of the 1. FC Kaiserslautern , where the striker received a valid until June 2021 contract.
