Elias Paul Huth (born February 10, 1997 in Großwelzheim ) is a German soccer player . The striker is on loan from 1. FC Kaiserslautern to FSV Zwickau .

Career

Elias Huth began his career as a youth in Großwelzheim . After stints at Kickers Offenbach , Bayern Alzenau , Eintracht and FSV Frankfurt , he joined the youth team at Hannover 96 in 2015 . In 2016 he was accepted into the second men's team, for which he played his first game on May 14, 2016 against FC St. Pauli II and scored the team's only goal. On December 2, 2016, he made his debut in the professional team when he was substituted on in the second division game against 1. FC Heidenheim . For the 2017/18 season , Huth was awarded to third division club FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt .

In the summer of 2018, Huth moved to the relegated division in the 3rd division, 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He signed a three-year contract. On the 8th day of the away game against FC Carl Zeiss Jena , Huth came on in the 78th minute when the score was 1: 2 and turned the game around with goals in the 82nd and 88th minutes. However, Jena was able to equalize 3: 3 in stoppage time. Huth was substituted on a total of 27 times in the third division 2018/19 season and was in the starting line-up once.

For the 2019/20 season , the striker was loaned to third division competitor FSV Zwickau . There he immediately developed into a regular player and top performer on the offensive and was able to score 8 goals in 19 first round games. During the winter break, Huth suffered a metatarsal fracture and was out for several weeks. After his comeback in the second half of the season, another six goals made an important contribution to the swans' close relegation and thus scored a total of 14 goals and three assists in the 2019/2020 season.
