Mike Könnecke (born August 23, 1988 in Wolfsburg ) is a German soccer player . He is under contract with FSV Zwickau .

Career

After various youth clubs from his hometown, Könnecke moved in 2008 to the largest regional club, VfL Wolfsburg, in whose second team he quickly became a regular. In the 2011/12 season he signed a contract with second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue until June 30, 2013. The attacker made his first game in the second-highest German division on July 22, 2011 (2nd matchday) when he went 0-0 against FC Ingolstadt 04 in the 55th minute for Enrico Kern .

Könnecke scored his first goal for Saxony on July 29, 2011 in the first round match of the DFB Cup against 1. FC Saarbrücken , when he was in the starting eleven and made it into the second round with his goal to make it 3-1.

The first second division for the young striker followed on September 23, 2011 away from FC St. Pauli , when he came on for Guido Kocer in the 75th minute and achieved the 3-1 intermediate result for the violets in the 84th minute could.

Since the 2013/14 season , Könnecke has been increasingly deployed as a midfielder. For the 2016/17 season he moved to third division club FSV Zwickau .
