Morris Schröter (born August 20, 1995 ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with FSV Zwickau since 2015 .

Career

Youth and 1. FC Magdeburg

Schröter began his career in the youth of FC Grün-Weiß Wolfen , where he was active until he moved to 1. FC Magdeburg (2008).

In Magdeburg, the midfielder went through the youth teams up to U19 and was included in the squad of the professional team for the 2013/14 season. During the next two seasons he graduated for these 26 games in which he scored two goals. At the same time he came to two missions in the second team, in which he scored a goal. With the first team he became champions of the Regionalliga Nordost at the end of the 2014/15 season and was promoted to the 3rd division in relegation .

FSV Zwickau

In June 2015, the move from Morris Schröter to FSV Zwickau was announced. With this club, the midfielder succeeded in his first season again, as in the previous season with 1. FC Magdeburg, the championship of the Regionalliga Nordost. Here, too, the following relegation was won and the promotion to the third division was completed. Schröter, who had made 17 appearances for the West Saxons in the promotion season, remained loyal to the club after extending the validity of his contract for the third division.

Schröter made his first appearance in the third division on September 1, 2016 in a catch-up game against his former club 1. FC Magdeburg, which ended 0-0. Schröter came on as a substitute for Patrick Göbel in the 84th minute .
