Kevin Kraus (born August 12, 1992 in Wiesbaden ) is a German soccer player who has been playing for 1. FC Kaiserslautern since the third division season 2018/19 .

Career

1998 The central defender started his career at SV Niederseelbach and went to the neighboring 2001 Taunusstein for SV Wehen , for whom he played by 2004. Then he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt and was initially used in the 2nd team.

On January 16, 2011, he made his Bundesliga debut in the home game against Hannover 96 .

On May 23, 2011, SpVgg Greuther Fürth announced the commitment of Kraus. He signed a three-year contract until June 30, 2014. He made his first appearance in the second division on November 20, 2011 in a 4-0 home win against FSV Frankfurt . On April 14, 2012 he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in the 2-0 defeat of the Fürth U23 reserve against SV Waldhof Mannheim and was out for the rest of the season.

For the second half of the 2012/13 season he was awarded to the third division club 1. FC Heidenheim in order to be able to collect match practice there until the end of the 2012/13 season.

When he returned to Fürth, he was on the starting line-up against Arminia Bielefeld on matchday 1 and played for the full season.

In 2014 Kraus moved to 1. FC Heidenheim .

After four seasons with Heidenheim in the 2nd Bundesliga, his contract was not extended after the 2017/18 season.

On June 13, 2018, Kraus signed with 1. FC Kaiserslautern for three years.
