Anas Bakhat (born April 2, 2000 in Mainz ) is a German soccer player . The midfielder is under contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern .

Career

Bakhat received football training in his hometown at 1. FSV Mainz 05 and TSV Schott . As a C-youth he switched to the youth performance center of 1. FC Kaiserslautern and was subsequently used for the U17 and A-youth teams in the respective junior national leagues. In his penultimate junior season, the midfielder made it to the cup final with Kaiserslautern's U19 , where SC Freiburg was victorious. In his last year in the A-Jugend, Bakhat only missed five competitive games, three of them injury-related, and was able to contribute five goals and four assists. In the league, relegation was just achieved with one point difference to the relegation zone.

For the 2019/20 season , Bakhat and five other young players received a professional contract, the midfielder's contract is valid until June 2022. In addition, he was integrated into the squad of the third division team. For them he made his debut on matchday 21, otherwise he is active as a regular player for the league team .
