Christian Kühlwetter (born April 21, 1996 in Bonn ) is a German football player . He is under contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern .
Club career
Kühlwetter started playing soccer at RW Lessenich in Bonn. From the U12 he played for 1. FC Köln . From the 2012/13 season he played in the U-17 Bundesliga (21 games; 9 goals; 3 assists). For the 2013/14 season he was a member of the U-19 Bundesliga squad of 1. FC Cologne.
In the 2014/15 season he led the U-19s of 1. FC Köln as captain on the field. On the 17th matchday (February 22, 2015) he caused a sensation by scoring all four goals in the 4-0 away win against VfL Bochum and doing a flawless hat trick within four minutes (16-20 minutes of play) . In 2014/15, Kühlwetter also made his first appearances for the second team of 1. FC Köln (Regionalliga West), for which he played exclusively in the following season.
In July 2016 he moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern . There, too, Kühlwetter was used in the second team, with which he was relegated from the Regionalliga Südwest to the Oberliga in 2017. For the 2018/19 season , Kühlwetter was accepted into the professional squad of the FCK ( 3rd division ), but initially continued to play for the second team. He made his debut for the first team on the 8th matchday against FC Carl Zeiss Jena and was in the starting line-up. In the 38th minute he scored the first goal of the game; the game ended 3: 3. On the following matchday in the game against Eintracht Braunschweig , Kühlwetter scored twice and helped FCK to a 4-1 away win. On December 7, 2018, he received his first professional contract, which is valid until 2021.
