Piotr Rowicki (born June 19, 1970 in Warsaw ) is a Polish football player in midfield . He played for Energie Cottbus in the 2nd Bundesliga .

Career

Rowicki played in his youth for his hometown clubs Polonez Warszawa and Ursus Warszawa. In 1988 Legia Warsaw signed him . Rowicki was then under contract with Polonia Warsaw from 1989 to 1995 and was loaned to FKS Stal Mielec in 1992 . In 1995 he moved to Ruch Chorzów before joining FC Energie Cottbus for two years in 1997, which was represented in the 2nd Bundesliga at that time. Rowicki played 16 times in the league for Cottbus and scored one goal. Since his debut, he celebrated on February 15, 1998, when he was in the right midfield against SC Freiburg in the starting line-up. He scored his goal on May 17, 1998 in the game against SG Wattenscheid 09 in the 2nd minute and paved the way for Cottbus to a 2-0 win. In 1999 Rowicki went to Qatar for al-Rayyan SC , before coming back to Germany in 2000 and joining FC Bremerhaven . For Bremerhaven he scored six goals in 43 games. After the season he moved to BFC Dynamo for a year . TSG Neustrelitz then secured Rowicki. There he came to 33 missions. Again after one season he moved to FSV Wacker 03 Gotha , where he stayed until 2006. Rowicki ended his career in 2006 with Normania Treffurt.
