Pippa Grandison

Pippa Jody Grandison (born September 12, 1970 in Perth , Western Australia ) is an Australian actress and musical artist .

life and career

Pippa Grandison was born in the western Australian metropolis of Perth and attended high school. In 1986 she participated in a student exchange with Jacksonville High School in Florida . In 1990 she made her debut in front of the camera in the Australian television series A Country Practice . She is known in German-speaking countries for her supporting role as Nicole in Muriel's wedding in 1994. She played a speaking role in the original English version of Pig in the Big City (Babe: Pig in the City) . She was a member of a pop group called "Lady Killer". Pippa Grandison also works as a musical performer. She was seen in The Witches of Eastwick, among others. From December 2009 to May 2010 she performed successfully in the lead role of Elphaba in the musical Wicked - Die Hexen von Oz (Wicked - The Musical) in Sydney .

Since September 2000 Pippa Grandison is married to the actor Steve Le Marquand, also from Perth. The two are parents of a daughter and live in Sydney.
