Pishchanka ( Ukrainian Піщанка ; Russian Песчанка Pestschanka ) is a village in Ukraine with 4200 inhabitants (2006). The village, founded in the early 18th century, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name .
Pishchanka is located in the central Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Novomoskovsk Raion on the left bank of the Samara , a tributary of the Dnieper . On the opposite bank lies the Novomoskovsk district center . The M 04 / E 50 and M 18 / E 105 highways run through the village . The village Orliwschtschyna is located north of Pishchanka .

In addition to Pishhanka, the district council of Pishchanka also includes the villages Novoseliwka with about 1000 inhabitants, Sokolowe ( Соколове ) with about 400 inhabitants and Jahidne ( Ягідне ) with about 300 inhabitants.
