The M 18 is a trunk road of "international importance" in Ukraine . It runs from Kharkiv via Dnipro , Zaporizhia , Melitopol and Simferopol to Yalta on the Crimean peninsula . Until 1991, the line north of Simferopol was part of the M 2 in the Soviet trunk road network. It is now part of the European route 105 .
