The N 09 ( Cyrillic Н 09 ) is a Ukrainian trunk road. It leads from Lviv in a southerly direction via Ivano-Frankivsk to the Romanian border and then further west to Mukachevo .
history
This route belonged to the Austrian Crown Land of Galicia until 1918 and was called the Deliatyner Reichsstraße .
The road between Lviv and Jablunyzja belonged to the territory of the Second Polish Republic between 1918 and 1939 and was declared a state road ( droga państwowa ) by the Polish Road Act of December 10, 1920 . The adjacent section leads through the Carpathian Ukraine , which belonged to Czechoslovakia until 1939 and Hungary from 1939–44 .
