The M 05 is a Ukrainian trunk road . It runs from Kiev in a southerly direction via Bila Tserkva and Uman to Odessa . Before 1991 the M 05 was part of the M 20 , today's R 23 in the Soviet trunk road network.

In October 2004 it was opened to four lanes throughout.
